Teo Marinakis is a director and cinematographer based in New York and London. Originally from Santiago, Chile with Brazilian and Argentinian parents, Teo has BFA in Film & Television from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. His short films Cabourg (2019), French Riviera (2021), and Pandora’s Box (2021) screened festivals including Hip Hop Film Festival (New York), French Riviera Film Festival (Cannes), FICIMAD (Madrid). He served as cinematographer in Promise (2022) which screened at Rhode Island International, Indy Shorts International, and was selected as Vimeo Staff Pick. Teo has worked on short films, commercials, documentaries, and music videos with clients such as ZEISS, Gabriela Hearst, Chloe, among others. In 2022 he became an O-1 "Extraordinary Talent" Visa holder. Teo's work delves into multicultural stories that explore human behavior across different countries and genres.
