Downhill skiing is a brutal sport. After U.S. Olympian Jackie Wiles suffered a crash mere days ahead of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, she began her four year comeback. In a sport like downhill skiing, the psychological impact of an 80 MPH crash can be the biggest hurdle. I worked with Jackie to tell her incredible story, shooting over three days and nights in the Pacific Northwest shortly after her return from the Beijing 2022 Olympics.
