Granted special access through Vandenberg Space Force Base, SIPA Press, and ULA, I photographed one of the final Delta IV Heavy launches. Using remote sound-triggered cameras placed on the pad, I captured close-up views of the 250-ft rocket lifting over 1 million pounds into space, showcasing the raw power of this historic mission.
