James Marriott | "California Rain"

DP on "California Rain," a studio music video shot on ARRI Alexa Mini, leading camera and lighting departments (kit value ~£275k). Collaborated closely with Director Herbie Elton. Camera and light tests at FOMO Rentals shaped a 1970s film-inspired look, using the Cooke Varotal 18-100mm zoom for its soft, warm character to create a light-hearted, humanistic image. Developed a custom on-set LUT and later graded the film to translate that look into a 35mm celluloid-style finish.
