Solipsism is the belief that only one’s own mind is certain to exist, and everything outside of it, including the external world and other minds, may not be real. I chose to title my editorial SOLIPSISM in response to behaviors observed on social media, where misinformation, defamation, and other forms of misconduct are rampant.
