“Homecoming” is a cinematic spec commercial originally created for submission to the ABFF 30th Anniversary Commercial Competition. This short piece celebrates legacy, creativity, and community, reflecting the spirit of the American Black Film Festival and the cultural heartbeat it represents. While it wasn’t selected, this project became a personal statement about returning to the roots that shaped us, and the beauty of storytelling through connection, pride, and artistry.
