Short Documentary. Navia is a cosmic descent into time’s slippery grasp, a collision of past and present in the small town of Navia, Asturias, Spain. Fragmented home videos, my mother’s gaze from decades ago, rupture against my own, 20 years later, distorting memory, tradition, and the eerie persistence of place. A ghostly dialogue unfolds between what was, what is, and what refuses to stay buried. Currently in post-production. Shot w a mix of Hi8 and Super 8.
