Bio
Nick Shadix is a filmmaker from San Francisco who is based in NYC. This year he directed two music videos for a folk-punk artist, Griffin Energy Turtle. He wrote and directed a short film, Thanks For Nothing, a story of two friends growing apart, which will be premiering at festivals this year. When he's not working on his next project, Nick prefers to work in Assistant Director and Producer type roles. He enjoys making another creative's vision come to life. Notable credits include Associate Producer and Script Supervisor on the sci-fi thriller feature, Creep Box, directed by Patrick Biesemans. He was Talia Lugacy's personal assistant and worked on the post-production for This Is Not A War Story (available on HBO Max). Assistant Director for Conswank’s music video, “Let It All Go.” He was a Head PA for Tiger Ji's short film, "Death and Ramen," starring Bobby Lee and Matt Jones. Other than AD and Producer roles, Nick likes to work on set as a Director of Photography, Assistant Camera, Gaffer and Grip. Beyond film, Nick is also a photographer who specializes in street, concert, and BTS photography. He shot the cover for Danny Singh's EP, F3V3RDR3AM. And his series, "Salt and Sand" was showcased at The Monsta House Gallery in Bushwick, 2023. He shoots on film and digital.
