Aesthetically, the shoot takes inspiration from Hollywood’s golden era. The Marilyn-like figure’s disinterest in the cameramen juxtaposes their fixation on capturing the starlet. The images pose the question, why does Hollywood iconography so enthrall us? Can this devotion be compared to religious worship?
