Piccolo Mondo is an experimental documentary that follows a single show in the life of a circus in Berlin. The film lingers behind the scenes, capturing the circus revealing in fragments: its labor, its rituals, its pauses. As a child’s voice narrates a distant memory of a special meeting in a nomad circus, the show becomes a metaphor for longing and connection through the intimate and absurd worlds we create in our search for belonging and meaning.
