Konnies is an experimental art toy project I designed as part of my exploration into storytelling through objects. Each toy is imagined as a unique Nigerian character from a fictional species shaped by keratoconus, with every figure vying for a symbolic “seat at the table.” The project combines sculpture, play, and cultural narrative, reimagining how art toys can carry themes of identity, visibility, and inclusion while celebrating diversity in form and story.
