The film focuses on four municipalities in Molise: Lucito, Portocannone, Roccamandolfi and Civitacampomarano. Four villages, four lifestyles, four different tribes that populate Molise. A small region of Italy that, as many now say, does not exist. But, in reality, "Molise (does not exist) resists", as a mural in the village of Civitacampomarano says.
