Poster for Whiplash movie

A poster created for the Visual Experimentation course, taught by Alberto Salván at @thisisbeyondbranding, and inspired by Whiplash and Andrew’s obsessive pursuit of musical excellence. Typography translates his journey into two opposing states. Dense, distorted and unstable forms embody the sacrifice, violence and self-destruction behind his ambition. In contrast, the word success remains geometrically precise and undeformed, yet appears only as an outline — visually perfect, but empty.
