IN FESTIVAL RUN Ruth, an 18-year-old freshman in college, is suddenly on her own for the first time in her life. Scrambling to find her purpose, she chases after a boy who doesn't give half of the same effort. Against her family and friends' advice, she pursues this boy to the point of isolation.
