Katie Mlinek grew up outside of Baltimore, Maryland in a rambunctious household with her 5 younger sisters. After working on film productions in beautiful North Carolina, she moved to New York to complete her dream of lensing independent projects. Her work has been featured in places such as the Riverrun International Film Festival, Independent Short Awards, Tryon International Film Fest, Milwaukee international film fest, San Jose international short film fest, and others. She owns an Aaton LTR7 16mm camera and a feature-sized grip and electric package. She is currently based in Brooklyn, New York.
