Ahmed Alom: Exilio | A documentary by Julián De La Chica

EXILIO: Hope and Resilience is a documentary by Julián De La Chica following Cuban pianist Ahmed Alom during the recording of his album EXILIO. Through intimate interviews, studio footage, and hand-processed 16mm films by Cuban artist Juan Carlos Alom, the film explores the intersections of music, exile, cultural memory, and identity, as well as the influence of Colombian composer Luis A. Calvo on Alom’s musical journey.
