Swear to God

Set in the 2004 Ozark Mountains, "Swear to God" follows 13-year-old Eliza as she navigates the pressures of her conservative, religious community. Her school requires girls to sign purity contracts to "protect" them. Under mounting pressure from her father to comply, uneasiness washes over Eliza. The town throws a Purity Ball to ratify the girl's contracts. Here, Eliza confronts a critical decision: either conform to the community's expectations or rebel against them.
