Cover Art | Notes From The Underground
Drawing inspiration from the Dostoevsky book of the same name, Brooklyn music giant Talib Kweli's company Javotti Media curated a compilation of lyricists, DJs, and singers -- from legendary vets to rising talents. I was inspired by this pairing of artists at varying points in their respective journeys. Piecing together visuals both physical and digital, my final image divorces the term 'underground' from its connotation to obscurity, instead depicting it as an infinite ascension.
