My Parsons 2024 BFA Thesis Project, “The Bends,” is an ongoing series of photographs taken throughout 2023 and 2024 in New York City. Drawing on visual cues from neo-noir cinema and candid photography, the project consists of open-ended narrative tableaux that walk the line between excitement and danger in a limitless urban environment.
