Tan Lines (sound redesign)

Impatient with the silence of the tape recorder, the lone tennis ball, I decided to add sound to this sensual image myself. The tape sparks a wave of emotions, accidentally introducing the sound of a departing Cessna. It doesn’t impose itself with a complex form. The wind is strong, the water isn’t too warm. In this sound design, the music feels technically more distant yet closer within the frame. Tan Lines, dir. Anthony Vaccarello Film: Romain Wygas. Music: Gustave Rudman.
