Maria Somerville 'Luster' Album Concept
This project examines physical media as an extension of sound, treating the CD & vinyl format as an atmospheric object rather than a purely functional one. Soft-focus imagery, translucent layering, and a muted blue palette create a sense of suspension and movement that reflects the tone of the music. The design prioritises materiality and restraint, allowing texture, light, and negative space to shape a quiet and immersive visual experience. Self -Initiated.
