Taste of Life is a short documentary made during the first year of a Film Directing program as part of the “Portrait of a Classmate” assignment. It follows Xu Lung Yao, an aspiring filmmaker with a lifelong love for cooking, as he reflects on how the art of cinema and the craft of food are deeply connected. Filmed inside a bustling restaurant kitchen, the film captures his passion and philosophy with warmth and simplicity.
