Going into this shoot, I knew I wanted an elevated, dramatic feel and to utilize the available light on this beautiful rooftop on Pleasant Avenue. Motivated use of simple props was also a key interest of mine, creatively in this shoot. Using simple, vintage props in a motivated way was a crucial way to have a story and emotion come through the frame. What is the significance of this phone? Are they disconnected? What are they individually going through at this time? What is Tim listening to?
