Bio
Connor Mikita is a graphic designer and musician based in New York with over a decade of digital art experience. He has his bachelor's degree in Advertising and Printing Technologies from Appalachian State University. Out of a necessity for creating a visual identity for his own band The Nude Party, his experiments in design soon became a full time job as shows grew from local dive bars to the biggest festivals in America, Europe, and Australia. He’s since gone on to work with bands, labels, promoters, and brands all over the world, doing everything from album art, album layout, and merchandise design, to developing brand identities for bars, hotels, and restaurants. His style is often a reflection of his devout studies of design from the past and its symbiotic relationship with music, combining timeless nostalgia with contemporary freshness in a seamless recipe. In 2022, Connor co-founded his own homeware brand called Great Indoors, designing all of the products and acting as Creative Director. While also still touring in his band, his free time is spent designing for his own brand or other interested clients.
