Matcha Girl

Composed the original score for "Matcha Girl," a four-plus-minute Squarespace spot for The Adam Friedland Show, on a roughly 24-hour turnaround. With minimal dialogue, the music carried a lot of the emotional weight, sort of playful but poignant, in the spirit of Annie Hall. Built from scratch with woodwinds and small melodic ideas, the score gradually builds to an expansive finale, letting the humor play straight while the emotion lands honest.
