Cinphonic

CINEPHONIC is an immersive film and sound series that reimagines silent cinema through live, contemporary scoring. Blending film and performance, each event pairs classic silent films with newly composed soundtracks in iconic Los Angeles venues. The project explores merging early cinema’s visual language with experimental sound and modern design. The identity draws from silent-era typography, projection artifacts, Bauhaus geometry, and graphic music notation.
