For #Juneteenth, watch Poet, storyteller, and organizer Aja Monet ( @ajamonet ) recite powerful poetry in The Broad’s galleries with works by David Hammons and Hank Willis Thomas— prominent black artists from The Broad collection. While Monet’s poems were not written in response to the artworks, the connection between her poems "Every Media Minute,” "The Devil You Know,” and "Untitled” and the themes in the visual works of palpable.
