A fallen angel named Alto wanders through the desolate backroads of America in search of her lost lover, Beloved, who was exiled from Heaven. After discovering human culture, Alto becomes determined to rise as a famous singer so Beloved can hear her voice anywhere in the world and find their way back to her. This surreal road story blends music, magical realism, dark Americana, and satire.
