A Cultural Archive in Los Angeles

Grailed sat down with NOVA cofounder Aidan Cullen, who shared how his personal book collection now lives at NOVA Studios, which opened in June 2025. After more than a decade behind the camera, Aidan wanted to create a space in Los Angeles that could act as both a creative hub and a cultural archive. 

The shelves inside NOVA Studios are lined with photography, fashion, and art books from Martha Cooper and Robert Rauschenberg to Dieter Rams and Jane Dickson. This collection isn't just for show. It's a reference library to spark new ideas, and reminds us why we create. 

Behind every shoot, every event, every late night at NOVA studios, there's inspiration built into the walls," Cullen shared. "I wanted to create a place that makes people think freely and feel creative." 

The result is our Los Angeles studio that feels alive with energy, accessible to the community, and available for everything from photography and film production to private events and screenings. At NOVA, we believe the right environment fuels the best work.
