I collaborated with two choreographers to style costumes for original dance pieces performed by freshman student dancers. For one piece, inspired by 2018 film “If Beale Street Could Talk” and its soundtrack, I styled costumes that captured the film’s intimate, cinematic mood. For another, choreographed to Noah Kahan songs and inspired by mountains, cities, and flowing rivers, I curated looks that reflected the emotional landscapes of the music with hand-painted details throughout.
