Malaria is a short film that follows the decline of an ordinary, hard-working American man. After losing his job, he is bitten by a mosquito and falls into a worsening fever and illness. As his condition deteriorates, he is ignored by those around him and pushed into increasingly desperate circumstances. With no support and nowhere to turn, his journey ultimately leads him to homelessness.
