Winner of the Tribeca award for best series. The Dove Self-Esteem Project and ATTN: joined forces with Emmy Award-winning producer and writer, Lena Waithe, and director Tiffany Johnson, to create the five episode scripted series Girls Room. Each episode tackles different issues young women face, associated with negative body image, by following everyday lives of five best friends: Melba, Minnie, Thelma, Gloria and Carlotta.
