For summer 2023, Maje is flying to Los Angeles with Semaine to meet GRLSWIRL, an all-female skater community from Venice Beach. Skateboarding isn’t just for men, every woman can do it: that’s the belief driving by Lucy Jean, creator of the global GRLSWIRL movement, and her eight fellow co-founders. With its goal of getting women from all over the world on a skateboard, GRLSWIRL aims to empower them with love, support and the confidence to feel strong, powerful and free.
