The film MARELD is an evocative experiment in which director Ove Valeskog creates a metafilm together with an unsuspecting film crew. The crew sets out to make a film in the Swedish archipelago. The scenes are improvised in chronological order, based on the director’s daily instructions. The actors are not told their characters’ fates until their final scene.
